About this deal

The updated drivers with two-layer diaphragm, refined micro-venting and 25% stronger magnets deliver rich, balanced sound and reduce distortion to virtually zero.

However, their dynamic audio reproduction tends to sound inconsistent, and their noise isolation falls short compared to their competitors, like the Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless. Available in slick one-tone colours and folding into a neat package, these Beats by Dre headphones do face some stiff competition in the noise cancelling world from competitors like the Bose QuietComfort 35 Wireless Headphones II, so let's see how they hold up. If you're an Android user, the more recent Beats Studio Pro Wireless offer the same in-app features for Android and iOS. The soft over-ear cushions feature advanced venting and signature ergonomic pivoting for a custom - flexible fit for any head shape.

The only thing that bothers me is that there is no good microphone, so you can't talk on the phone very well with the headphones. La cancelación de ruido activa (ANC) es excepcional, eliminando eficazmente el ruido ambiental y permitiéndote sumergirte completamente en tu música. They have the same stylish and polished design, but the Studio3 have a better control scheme and improved noise cancellation. While the drivers are matched regarding amplitude, they're very mismatched in frequency and phase response. While both headphones are comfortable, the Bose are better built, have a more neutral sound profile, which some users may prefer, and their ANC can significantly block out more noise around you.

The Beats Studio3 have decent controls that are better than their predecessor, the Beats Studio Wireless. Studio3 can provide up to 22 hours of playback with Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) enabled or up to 40 hours with ANC disabled. Meanwhile, the internal microphone demos highlight that voices sound slightly muffled and background noise causes distortions, making this headset less than ideal for anything but a quiet environment.

These headphones are comfortable enough for long listening sessions, well-built, and come with a carrying case to help protect them when you're on the go. Their closed-back design makes their soundstage seem less spacious, especially compared to open-back models. The Studio3 isolate a bit better in noisy conditions, which makes them a better option for commuting and travel than the Solo3. These Beats give you excellent control, on one ear you have volume control and play/pause which also doubles up as the rewind/fast forward button.

However, we didn't experience this issue with our unit, and the scoring of 'Noise Isolation' hasn't changed. The vocals that come in at about the same time but at least the midrange boost makes them fairly easy to hear. However, unlike the Audio-Technica, the Beats are wireless, and they have controls, a microphone, and active noise cancelling, making them more versatile headphones overall. The Apple W1 chip features Class 1 Bluetooth connectivity — the industry-leading classification for range and signal strength. These headphones have a somewhat breathable design, but they're closed-back over-ears with a decent seal, so they trap a lot of heat. Furthermore, cable operation is unfortunately not possible when the battery is empty, and there is a background noise due to ANC. They also lack an IP rating for water resistance, though this is to be expected for over-ear headphones.
